This stylish leather boot combines purist design with a high level of comfort. Werner makes them from supple, vegetable-tanned Wernebi nappa leather, whose distinctive grain gives them a lively, characterful look. The lining and the lightly padded insole are made from soft cowhide tanned with mimosa extract. This ensures a balanced foot climate and allows you to walk and stand comfortably, even for hours on end. The generously cut, calf-high shaft, together with the elastic insert on the shaft edge, offers sufficient freedom of movement and allows trouser legs to be comfortably accommodated inside, while the zipper on the inside makes putting on and taking off child's play. The insole is removable and can be replaced with your own insoles if required. The profiled, non-slip rubber sole offers good grip on all your walks. All in all, this shoe is an everyday companion that effortlessly follows your every move and will develop a beautiful, individual patina over time.

Two aspects characterise Werner shoes: natural leathers – if in any way possible chrome-free and vegetable tanned – and a comfortable feel thanks to tried and tested fittings. The family business founded in 1911 is, after all, still in line with its traditional claim to produce beautiful and good shoes. What once began with sturdy work and hiking boots developed into a range comprising chic après-ski boots in the 1970s and 80s and progressed up to the current collection of (casual) shoes for men and women, some sporty, some rather elegant. Werner also actively follows new developments in the leather market. For instance, some shoes feature a lining made of olive leather®. In the tannery, they use olive leaves (residues that accumulate during the annual pruning of the trees), the resulting leather is very skin-friendly. For many years, Werner shoes were made at the company’s founding place in Pirmasens. Today the “quilters” and “nippers” work in south-eastern Europe. The raw materials come from Germany and the neighbouring European countries –in unvaryingly guaranteed high quality –, keeping transport distances as short as possible.
