This fringeless rib-knit scarf made from pure wool is almost geometrically austere yet colorful. The knitted fabric is 39 centimetres wide and 1.90 meters long, which allows for many wrapping options. The scarf is made up of two colored longitudinal blocks - one blue, one olive. The wide red block at one end of the scarf provides a striking yet harmonious contrast. The wool used is certified in accordance with the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS).

Behind the walls of McKernan Woollen Mills in Tuamgraney in County Clare, Ireland, Anke and Eugene McKernan have been producing fine woven and knitted scarves from selected natural fibers since 1985 - currently with five employees. They combine the past with the present. They weave on old Hattersley looms, true classics among mechanical looms that have long since been discontinued and are therefore carefully maintained. The same applies to a 50-year-old Stoll knitting machine, to which the McKernans have added their "latest" acquisition, two computer-controlled machines. So far, so technical: what makes their goods so unique, however, is above all the deep understanding of materials, colors and patterns that comes from pure hand weaving - and the enthusiasm with which everyone in the family business is involved.

Staining of light-coloured clothing, furniture and other objects is possible.
