This parka not only keeps you warm, it also provides good protection against changeable weather. This is because the outer material has a three-layer construction: It consists of warming wool from certified organic animal husbandry on the outside and a skin-friendly jersey made from certified organic cotton on the inside. In between is a polyurethane membrane. This gives the parka breathable, windproof and water-repellent properties. The two-way zipper can be fastened up to the chin and has a wind-resistant flap with press studs above it. The spacious hood offers additional weather protection. Ventilation eyelets under the armpits increase comfort. Two side pockets are inserted into the shaping dividing seams at the front, which together with the zippered inner pocket provide space for small items for everyday use. The hem is reinforced with a tape on the inside for added stability. Thanks to its purist design, the parka can be combined in a variety of ways - for both formal and informal occasions.

Fair fashion from China? It's possible! Miranda Chen and Philipp Langer prove it with their fair and resource-conscious fashion "made in China" - timeless, functional and durable. Back in 2009, the two founded the textile manufacturer Jiecco not far from Shanghai, where all of their collections are produced today. Their passion for fashion and expertise in fabric development laid the foundation for the fashion label LangerChen, which was launched five years later.

Since its foundation, the GOTS-certified manufacturer Jiecco has specialized in the production of eco-fair fashion. Good working conditions, a pleasant working environment and living wages are the top priorities here. When choosing materials, LangerChen relies on cotton and linen from controlled organic cultivation, virgin wool from controlled organic animal husbandry, Lyocell (TENCEL™) and fibers made from recycled plastic. Almost all of the fabrics used for the collections are developed in-house. Every step of the process, from processing the yarns to the final product, takes place directly on site with short distances.
