This comfortable parka has a sporty, elegant look and its sophisticated functionality makes it the ideal companion for the cool season. The outer material has a three-layer construction. It consists of milled wool from certified organic animal husbandry on the outside and skin-friendly jersey made from certified organic cotton on the inside. In between is a polyurethane membrane. This so-called techno-felt fabric insulates very well against the cold and is also breathable, windproof and water-repellent. The material is lightweight and not bulky. The parka is equipped with a spacious hood, two large patch pockets and an inside pocket with a zipper. The two-way zipper can be closed up to the chin. The width of the cuffs can be adjusted using press studs. Metal eyelets under the armpits ensure good ventilation and the taped seams on the hem and pocket openings provide additional stability. And thanks to the two detachable straps on the inside, the parka can be worn on the back like a rucksack.

Fair fashion from China? It's possible! Miranda Chen and Philipp Langer prove it with their fair and resource-conscious fashion "made in China" - timeless, functional and durable. Back in 2009, the two founded the textile manufacturer Jiecco not far from Shanghai, where all of their collections are produced today. Their passion for fashion and expertise in fabric development laid the foundation for the fashion label LangerChen, which was launched five years later.

Since its foundation, the GOTS-certified manufacturer Jiecco has specialized in the production of eco-fair fashion. Good working conditions, a pleasant working environment and living wages are the top priorities here. When choosing materials, LangerChen relies on cotton and linen from controlled organic cultivation, virgin wool from controlled organic animal husbandry, Lyocell (TENCEL™) and fibers made from recycled plastic. Almost all of the fabrics used for the collections are developed in-house. Every step of the process, from processing the yarns to the final product, takes place directly on site with short distances.
