These trousers get their special character from both their figure-flattering cut and the material used: warming, temperature-regulating new wool and skin-friendly, organically grown cotton. The high-quality natural fibers are processed into a soft knitted fabric, which is then milled in an elaborate finishing process under the influence of heat, moisture and friction. This makes it denser and therefore warmer. Nevertheless - and this is the difference between milled knitwear and milled woven fabrics - it remains breathable and very elastic. Thanks to their sophisticated, comfortable cut, the trousers offer plenty of freedom of movement and perfectly balanced proportions: The buttocks and pelvic area are softly skimmed and the leg has a relaxed width, so that any little pads are well concealed. Two darts at the back of the waistband support the flattering fit. The trousers are fastened with a concealed zipper at the side. They go well with casual outfits, but are equally at home in elegant ensembles.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
