Minimalist in design, uncompromising in material and craftsmanship— Elemente Clemente crafts this timeless coat from pure Apulian wool. The wool comes from the “Gentile di Puglia,” an ancient breed of sheep that has been native to Apulia for centuries and is known for its excellent wool. Since the breed was created by crossing native sheep with Spanish Merinos, it is also known as “Merino d’Italia.”

Fulled knitwear. Warm, temperature-regulating, and elastic

The fine, soft fibers are processed here into a comfortable knit, which is then fulled in a complex finishing process involving heat, moisture, and friction. This makes it denser and, consequently, warmer. Nevertheless—and this is the difference between fulled knits and fulled woven fabrics—it remains breathable and very elastic. The strikingly striped lining is made of nearly equal parts viscose and cotton. This makes it particularly breathable, silky-soft, and pleasantly smooth against the skin, and allows for easy putting on and taking off.

The button-through coat features a relaxed, slightly flared fit, with raglan sleeves and a high-closing stand-up collar. Two patch flap pockets add a striking accent, provide space for small everyday items, and keep your hands warm when needed. A vertical seam down the back visually elongates the silhouette and emphasizes the clean lines.
