Today, the textile industry often relies on synthetic fibers such as polyester for the production of velvet. The presence of cotton velvet has become a rarity, although it is the gold standard. It is breathable, does not become statically charged and has an elegant, matt appearance. Oska uses skin-friendly cotton and only a minimal amount of elastane for the incredibly soft velvet fabric of these trousers, which gives the fabric the necessary elasticity and shape retention. The cut of the barrel-style velvet trousers is as expressive as the fabric is full of character. The shape emphasizes the waist, sits loosely at the hips, thighs and legs and then tightens again at the ankles. This not only ensures plenty of freedom of movement, but also a relaxed silhouette. A partial elasticated waistband at the back makes them even more comfortable to wear. The front and back of the trousers have longitudinal dividing seams that visually elongate the leg. Two side pockets can hold small items for everyday use.
