With its striking block stripes, this sweater is a real eye-catcher. The materials used are also impressive across the board. Lanius uses new wool from certified organic animal husbandry and certified organic cotton to create a warm, wonderfully soft knitted fabric that is both temperature-regulating and breathable. This is further enhanced by the fact that the sweater is patent-knitted. The straight, slightly boxy shape and wide sleeves offer freedom of movement and ensure a beautiful drape. The round neckline is finished with a ribbed knit cuff. The sleeves and body are finished without cuffs.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
