These socks are suitable for everyday wear as well as sporting activities, as the high proportion of organically grown cotton and the sophisticated design make them particularly breathable. Polyamide and elastane are added for greater elasticity and shape retention. The shaft is made from a flat, stretchy ribbed knit. The heel, toe area and sole are smooth-knitted. The inside of the sole is padded with terrycloth, which keeps the foot warm and ensures a soft step every step of the way. Terrycloth is also breathable and air-conditioning, as the material can absorb a lot of moisture and quickly wick it away again thanks to the increased surface area created by the loops.

Designing fashion differently (and better), conserving resources instead of exploiting them and creating designs that complement the wardrobe in the long term - that was the plan of Martin Höfeler and Anton Jurina, the founders of the Cologne-based label Armedangels. Or to quote CEO Höfeler: "I actually just wanted to prove that it is possible to build a company that is profit-oriented and at the same time promotes good causes." And what began in 2007 with a simple white T-shirt has long since become a successful fair fashion label. Armedangels combines ecological materials, transparent supply chains, durable design and fair working conditions. This fairness is regularly checked by several independent organizations. Armedangels has been awarded the Fair Trade and GOTS seals. The label is also part of the Fair Wear Foundation.
