When cold, wind and precipitation set the tone, you are perfectly dressed in a parka like this one. Its outer material is made from certified organic cotton and recycled polyamide. An internal, PFC-free polyurethane membrane makes it windproof and waterproof while remaining breathable. The warm padding is made entirely from recycled polyester. It is held in place permanently by the cross-stitched lining made of supple, breathable Lyocell (TENCEL™). Ventilation eyelets under the armpits increase comfort.

Thanks to its casual, straight fit, darts in the elbow area of the sleeves and buttoned side slits, the jacket offers plenty of freedom of movement, making it comfortable to wear even when cycling. The two-way zipper can be closed high up to the chin and has a wind-resistant flap with press studs above it. The spacious, padded hood and the hem of the torso can be adjusted in width using a drawstring, while the sleeves have elasticated cuffs for additional protection against wind and weather. Two slanted flap pockets with press studs and two inside pockets with press studs can hold small items for everyday use. All in all, a jacket that will keep you comfortable and warm throughout the cooler months of the year.

Fair fashion from China? It's possible! Miranda Chen and Philipp Langer prove it with their fair and resource-conscious fashion "made in China" - timeless, functional and durable. Back in 2009, the two founded the textile manufacturer Jiecco not far from Shanghai, where all of their collections are produced today. Their passion for fashion and expertise in fabric development laid the foundation for the fashion label LangerChen, which was launched five years later.

Since its foundation, the GOTS-certified manufacturer Jiecco has specialized in the production of eco-fair fashion. Good working conditions, a pleasant working environment and living wages are the top priorities here. When choosing materials, LangerChen relies on cotton and linen from controlled organic cultivation, virgin wool from controlled organic animal husbandry, Lyocell (TENCEL™) and fibers made from recycled plastic. Almost all of the fabrics used for the collections are developed in-house. Every step of the process, from processing the yarns to the final product, takes place directly on site with short distances.
