Formally, this travel slipper resembles the "Belgha", that Arab shoe with the typical turned-in heel cap that is worn like a slipper. Werner makes it from glove-soft Wernebi nappa leather, with the upper, lining and additionally padded insole made of the same material. The outsole of the snug, lightweight slipper is made of Wernebi suede. Folded flat and stowed in the included leather case, it fits in any suitcase. When traveling, it proves practical not only in accommodation. It can also be worn well on the plane or train to relax the feet - and of course it is also a good and elegant alternative to the conventional slipper at home.

Vegetable-tanned leather and a comfortable fit thanks to time-tested designs characterize Werner shoes—in keeping with the mission of this family-owned business, founded in 1911, to produce beautiful, high-quality shoes. What once began with sturdy work and hiking boots evolved through the sophisticated après-ski boots of the 1970s and 1980s into today’s lineup: sporty-elegant (casual) shoes for women and men.
