What looks like a heavy shoe at first glance turns out to be a true lightweight when worn. The design of the upper is classic loafer style, while the heavily treaded outsole, with its distinctive, non-slip Carrarmato tread, is more reminiscent of a hiking boot. However, unlike trekking models, the outsole of this shoe is not made of rubber but of ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), making the loafer noticeably lightweight and shock-absorbing.

Pull-up leather. Leather with character

Pawelk’s crafts the upper from supple, vegetable-tanned lambskin leather, finished as characterful pull-up leather. Over time, it will develop a beautiful, unique patina. The lining and the insole, which is padded up to the midfoot, are made of soft calfskin, ensuring a comfortable foot environment and a pleasant feel—even after many hours of wear. An elastic band under the instep strap further enhances comfort and makes it easy to slip the shoe on and off. An all-around comfortable and stylish chunky loafer that will reliably accompany you through your daily life and can be paired with a variety of outfits.

Pawelk's is an Italian shoe label known for its handmade leather goods. It goes back to the young craftsman Antonio Benegiamo from Salento, who decided to set up his own company in his garage at home in the village of Trepuzzi in the province of Lecce - today we would call it a start-up. Success followed and "Calzaturificio Benegiamo" grew steadily. Antonio Benegiamo died in 2017, but his passion and creativity live on in every model - not least in the shoes of the in-house brand Pawelk's. The company is now run by the third generation and the shoes are still made entirely in Italy. The focus is on combining traditional craftsmanship and innovation, which is reflected in both the design and the comfort of the shoes.
