Hardly any other garment is as timeless as the “little black dress”: a fashion staple that embodies elegance and style and has been reinterpreted time and again over the years. Thanks to its clean, simple design, the dress can be worn for many occasions—whether formal or casual. Here, this classic comes in a comfortable, knee-length cut, with short sleeves and a V-neck. The dress is made from a textured interlock jersey, in which two layers of fabric are tightly knitted together, making the fabric durable, tear-resistant, and highly shape-retaining. Interlock is made from various materials. Armedangels uses a significant amount of LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose, a regenerated fiber derived from wood and pulp sourced from certified sources. It also contains a small percentage of recycled polyamide and spandex, which gives the double-knit fabric even more elasticity and shape retention. The dress is slightly fitted at the waist, and the skirt flares out slightly. Shaping darts at bust level and vertical seams at the front and back ensure a good fit and a slimming silhouette.

Designing fashion differently (and better), conserving resources instead of exploiting them and creating designs that complement the wardrobe in the long term - that was the plan of Martin Höfeler and Anton Jurina, the founders of the Cologne-based label Armedangels.
