Lanius crafts these comfortable jeans from durable denim made of skin-friendly, certified organic cotton with a small amount of spandex for added elasticity and shape retention. The denim features a distinctive " Used " look. The jeans have a classic cut: with a mid-rise waist, straight legs, two side pockets, and two patch back pockets. They fasten with a zipper and button. For an especially casual look, the jeans can be worn with the cuffs turned up. The blended denim seam at the bottom of the leg adds a nice visual accent.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
