Ecoalf makes these sporty, casual trousers from pure, skin-friendly cotton. The lightweight fabric is not bulky and has a striking Used look. The relaxed fit with a wide, slightly tapered leg and partial elasticated waistband ensure a good, comfortable fit. Split seams at the front and side seams at the back give the silhouette a slimmer look. The trousers have two side pockets and two blind back pockets and are fastened with a zipper, button and counter button at the bottom.

Spanish designer Javier Goyeneche has found his own way to combat raw material waste. Since 2012, his label Ecoalf has been producing fashion made from recycled fibers. A key project is “Upcycling the Oceans,” founded in 2015, in which more than 4,000 fishermen and fisherwomen from Spain, Thailand, Greece, Italy, France, and Egypt now recover plastic waste from the ocean. This waste is transformed into yarn, which is then used to create clothing, shoes, and accessories. In addition, Ecoalf is also involved in recycling textile fibers, specifically cotton and wool—and finally, Ecoalf has also mastered the challenge of repurposing old car tires as outsoles for shoes.
