Lovingly crafted details add to the charm of this blouse. The design features a variety of embellishments in the form of tucks, delicate lace ribbons and floral embroidery. The blouse pays homage to traditional Victorian garments. Lanius makes it from skin-friendly, organically grown cotton. The wide, slightly flared fit makes it even more comfortable to wear and, together with the pleats under the shoulder yoke, creates a loose drape that gently skims the silhouette. The smocked cuffs allow the balloon sleeves to be casually pushed up, further emphasizing their voluminous character. Three mother-of-pearl buttons on the slit neckline round off the design.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
