These jeans stand out thanks to their unique barrel-shaped cut. As the name suggests, this cut is reminiscent of a barrel. It accentuates the waist, fits loosely around the hips, buttocks, and legs, and tapers back in at the ankles. This provides plenty of freedom of movement and creates a striking silhouette that flatters every figure. The high-waisted 5-pocket jeans feature vertical seams on the front that visually elongate the leg. The distinctive denim has a subtle “ Used ” look and is made from skin-friendly cotton with a small amount of spandex. This keeps it pleasantly textured while adding elasticity and making it extremely comfortable to wear. These casual jeans fasten with a zipper and button. They can be styled in many different ways—whether paired with a slim-fit shirt or a loose-fitting cropped sweater.

What began as an idea over a glass of wine in the summer of 2013 is now a successful Hamburg-based eco-fashion label: Jan ’n June. Instead of catering to short-lived trends, founders Anna Bronowski and Juliana Holtzheimer focus on timeless, minimalist fashion that focuses on natural resources and is produced under socially responsible working conditions. The materials used include natural fibers such as certified organic cotton and European linen, innovative regenerated fibers such as Lyocell (TENCEL™) and recycled polyester and polyamide. To keep production routes as short as possible, the clothing is produced almost exclusively in Europe. Each item of clothing has a hangtag with a QR code that can be used to trace the product's supply chain. Since 2021, Jan ’n June has been certified according to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). This sets high standards for the production of textiles made from organically produced natural fibers - across the entire value chain: from the extraction of the fibers, their processing and distribution to ethical and social criteria. Compliance with the standard is reviewed annually and the GOTS certification is re-awarded.
