Les Racines du Ciel uses pure Peruvian baby alpaca for this timelessly beautiful knitted sweater. With a fiber fineness of between 19 and 22 microns, the material is downy soft and therefore ideal for people who are sensitive to wool. And because it contains hardly any lanolin, alpaca hair is particularly allergy-friendly. The fine, airy knitted fabric warms very well, is temperature-regulating and feels pleasantly light on the skin. It has a striking pearlized pattern and a lively melange look. The sweater has a subtle V-neckline and narrow rib-knit cuffs on the sleeves and body. An all-round easy-to-wear, easy-to-combine favorite for the transitional season that won't make you sweat even when temperatures rise.

On the western tip of the Breton peninsula lies the department of Finistère. According to the Roman name, this is the end of the earth. Nathalie Goyette and Christian Tournafol founded the Quimper-based brand. The two have been producing elegant, feminine and timeless women’s fashion since 2005. Besides aiming at high-quality standards, Les Racines du Ciel’s declared entrepreneurial goal is to promote artisanal traditions and products and thus preserve jobs in impoverished rural areas. They choose their production locations correspondingly.
