These classic Weck® preserving jars are perfect not only for gift-sized portions of jam, but also for smaller quantities of jelly, chutney, and curd… Filled with dips, herb quark, sauces, and more, or used as dessert bowls, they look great on any party buffet. They can also be used as spice jars at the table, for coarse salt, dried, or freshly picked herbs. Just think of cilantro, mint, chili, and spring onion greens cut into rings—traditional ingredients in the Vietnamese rice noodle soup pho that are added to the soup bowl right at the table (– that’s just one of many ideas).

These preserving jars from Weck® are so famous that the term “Einwecken” has long since become a household phrase. It’s great that, after a long hiatus, they’re now available from us again. We source these storage jars from the company’s original location, which was known as J. Weck GmbH & Co. KG until 2023 and now operates under the new name Weck Glass and Packaging GmbH. So the preserving jars we offer come from Bonn, where they’re also professionally packaged in sets for shipping (a fact that we’re particularly pleased about). The only items you’ll need to order separately are the preserving rings and clips.
