Victorinox patent peeler

Victorinox patent peeler
- With deflecting surface: So that no shell sticks
- Rust-free and sharp: blade made of chrome steel
- Pulled parallel to the peel
General Information
A clever little vegetable peeler.
Like the Rex this Swiss patented peeler is moved up and down parallel to the vegetable. It works on the principle of a of the ‘traverse’ or ‘deflecting’ metal surface that ‘lifts’ the skin off the vegetable.
Peelers: application question.
The following pendulum peelers differ mainly ergonomically: you guide the Famos peeler at right angles to the peeling direction, whereas the patent peeler from Switzerland is pulled parallel to it, just like the Rex, which also comes from Switzerland. The special feature of the patent peeler is that it still lifts the vegetable peels from the peeled product while peeling. For nimble and short work, especially on larger vegetables, we prefer the Rex because it is sharper and has a wider cutting edge. Are you condemned to peel a bag of potatoes, we advise the Famos: With him can be worked from the wrist, which creates less pain in the long run.
