Thuringian Forest Glass
The famous glass speciality owes its green shimmer to the high proportion of iron oxides in the sands of the Thuringian forest soils. In addition to the natural green tones, the air bubbles trapped in the glass are also characteristic of the traditional manufacturing process. Each vase therefore turns out a little different.
