The knitted fabric of this sock has a striking melange look. The shaft of the sock is rib-knitted, while the foot section is plain-knitted. The clever alternation of knitting techniques ensures a good fit: the toes, sole and heel are plain knitted, while the shaft and back of the foot are ribbed. The combination of materials also ensures good wearing comfort: breathable and skin-friendly cotton from controlled organic cultivation, polyamide for more durability and a little elastane for shape retention.

Designing fashion differently (and better), conserving resources instead of exploiting them and creating designs that complement the wardrobe in the long term - that was the plan of Martin Höfeler and Anton Jurina, the founders of the Cologne-based label Armedangels. Or to quote CEO Höfeler: "I actually just wanted to prove that it is possible to build a company that is profit-oriented and at the same time promotes good causes." And what began in 2007 with a simple white T-shirt has long since become a successful fair fashion label. Armedangels combines ecological materials, transparent supply chains, durable design and fair working conditions. This fairness is regularly checked by several independent organizations. Armedangels has been awarded the Fair Trade and GOTS seals. The label is also part of the Fair Wear Foundation.
