Tulips, fascinating and eye-catching heralds of spring, are a symbol of reawakening nature, new life, love and affection and in many cultures stand for hope, renewal and beauty. Even in the weeks before the days become noticeably longer again, these pendants in the shape of tulip blossoms awaken the anticipation of spring. Long before the first snowdrops and the first fresh greenery lift the mood, the stylized blossoms bring the essence of spring to us. Hang the filigree heralds of spring in a place that you often look at, they also look good on doors or windows, or decorate a bouquet of fresh branches with the timelessly beautiful tulip blossoms. Drawn by hand, each flower is unique, just like in nature, perfectly combining beauty and individuality. Porcelain designer Anna Badur creates them from liquid porcelain.

Thanks to its delicate malleability and flawless surface, porcelain has stood for the highest level of craftsmanship and exquisite beauty for centuries. It is made from a mixture of fine kaolin, quartz and feldspar. The brilliant white color for which porcelain is known is due to the purity of the kaolin used. The art of porcelain production lies, among other things, in combining the individual components in the right proportions. Fired at temperatures of over 1,000 °C in some cases, the result is a white, hard material. Unglazed, as used by designer Anna Badur for her porcelain objects, the matt surface of the porcelain transforms any incident light into soft, diffuse light and allows the typical white to shine gently.

Certain manufacturing steps are carried out by hand. Slight dimensional and color deviations may therefore occur.
