Holes drilled in tiles are always a problem, particularly if a wall-mounted hook or rail has to be moved. This towel rail is supplied both with traditional screw-on fittings and with a set for adhesive fastening. The enclosed quick-drying adhesive is very strong but can nevertheless be removed without a trace if necessary.

Everything is chrome-plated these days: the thinnest steel sheets, die-cast zinc and even plastic. You can usually tell by the weight. However, chrome plating is often poor and inadequate. You notice it - usually too late - when the wafer-thin layer of chrome peels off after a few weeks and the metal underneath starts to rust or react. (There are chrome-plated steel appliances on which, for example, a natural sponge will turn brown within a few days). Under the chrome layer of our Giese appliances, however, is solid and additionally nickel-plated brass. So you can be sure that these items are durable and will not rust.
