A terry cloth tea towel seems unusual at first. Although terry towels are praised for their high absorbency in the bathroom due to their loops, they are usually not used in the kitchen - even though the requirements are the same. At most, there is a terry towel for the hands hanging on the hook, but it is usually far too thick for dishes. The Herka weaving mill in the Waldviertel presented us with a very fine, absorbent terry towel that is just the right thickness for drying (even slightly thicker) dishes. We have enthusiastically added this long-sought towel to our range and can now offer it to you in three colors. However, we still recommend a pure linen glass cloth for your glasses.

The cloth is woven as real terry cloth: a loop weave with three thread systems, which is much bulkier and more absorbent than the two-thread (warp and weft only) terry cloth due to its third (loop) thread. The yarn count is Nm 24/2 in the base warp, Nm 16 in the weft and Nm 20/2 in the loop warp. It has an average basis weight of 360 g/sqm.
