Made in the Finnish linen and jacquard weaving mill Lapuan Kankurit, these tea towels are made from pure linen. Woven from pure linen, they are absorbent, grippy and durable. With a material weight of 250 g/sqm, they will also quickly establish themselves as an all-rounder in your kitchen: for the hands and doubled as a potholder substitute. The jacquard woven stripe pattern is two-tone due to the use of natural colored yarn in the warp and colored yarn in the weft. As a result, the pattern shows up on both sides, just in opposite colors. The weaving mill uses only the best linen yarns from European long fiber flax (with the Masters of Linen® seal), also for these tea towels. They are woven on a shuttle loom, you can see this in the selvedges of the long sides. They are created when the loom is specially set up for the particular width of the woven fabric and the weft thread is not simply cut off, but continued endlessly. Thus, only the upper and lower cut edges need to be hemmed.
