The fact that the table frame and table top do not necessarily have to form a fixed unit has several advantages. The most practical is certainly that a table that can be assembled from individual parts can be tailored to suit the available space, functional requirements or even preferences, while also remaining variable. If space is limited or if rooms are used multifunctionally and a large work surface or an additional dining table is required at short notice, separate table tops and frames prove to be both space-saving and space-creating, as they can be quickly set up for temporary use, quickly dismantled and easily stowed away. And finally, sometimes only the counterpart is needed because a table top or (inherited) table trestles are already available. For these cases, we offer the table trestles and table tops from the manufacturer Form & Refine separately. This gives you a free choice, also in terms of size and design.

The core of the table top is made of solid, glued pine wood, with an oak veneer all around and oiled. We offer it in three sizes, which can be combined with the table trestles from the same manufacturer (or your own existing ones) to create temporary or permanent tables for a wide variety of purposes: from a small home office desk to a veritable dining table for eight people.

Form & Refine is a Danish design label founded in 2018 by Helle Herman Mortensen, Jonas Herman Pedersen and Lasse Lund Lauridsen. It exemplarily follows the Scandinavian design tradition and continues it at the same time. A central point is the harmonious combination of aesthetics, function and material. The designs are clear and restrained, function leads to form and the pure materials, which are allowed to retain their original visual details and forms, are processed with perfect craftsmanship. This is always done in the countries of origin of the materials, which shortens transport distances and at the same time supports the local craft culture.
