Everyone knows the soothing, clarifying scent that coniferous forests exude on hot summer days, especially if wood has been felled there beforehand. The wood of the stone pine (Pinus cembra) or Swiss stone pine, a robust pine species native to the Alpine region, contains particularly strong-smelling essential oils and resins. When processed into furniture, the wood exudes the typical tart, aromatic scent of Swiss stone pine for a long time.

We recommend placing them in an open bowl, for example in the closet, on the desk or on the bedside table, as many people find the tart, spicy scent of Swiss stone pine particularly pleasant. If the scent fades, it is sufficient to mix the slices and moisten them slightly.
