A swing-head shaver that can be fitted with classic razor blades instead of the usual interchangeable heads - the ideal combination that we have long been waiting for. A Munich start-up has closed this gap with the Shavent. As with a system shaver, the shaving head is mounted on an oscillating bearing and can adapt flexibly and agilely to all facial and body contours. In contrast to conventional swing-head shavers, however, this one is equipped with three (halved) classic razor blades, with which it shaves thoroughly and gently, making it suitable for sensitive skin areas such as armpits or legs. And so that you can also use it (non-slip) safely in the shower, its handle is ergonomic and also slightly longer.

The Shavent is produced in Thuringia. It is made entirely of metal, even the swing head is completely plastic-free. All components are manufactured using the zinc die-casting process, carefully ground, polished and given a shiny chrome finish - this also makes a visual impression and ensures that the swing-head shaver is easy to clean and durable. Precisely installed, the parts wear only minimally and can be replaced individually if necessary. Changing the blades is also quick and easy: unscrew the head using two knurled nuts, replace the blades, don't forget the spacer, screw it back together - ready for the next shave. If you prefer fewer than three blades, the shaver can also be used with just two blades. However, shaving with the full complement of three blades is usually perceived as the gentlest option.
