For anyone who doesn’t want to get frustrated with Christmas origami: This napkin is specifically designed to be “easy to fold.” When fully unfolded, it forms a field of stars; when folded, a single, striking star always takes center stage—whether folded into quarters to form a square or into sixths to form a rectangle. A well-thought-out detail that ensures a consistently attractive result.

Every year, setting the festive table presents us with a challenge: How do you create an atmosphere that’s festive but not over-the-top? Traditional, but not old-fashioned? Our answer to this is woven from high-quality European pure linen and hand-printed with a motif designed by our in-house illustrator.

The idea behind it is as simple as it is Christmassy: We took the traditional straw star from the tree and reduced it to its geometric essence. The result is a pattern that, with its delicate lines, exudes an understated festivity while remaining modern and graphically clean. The background colors—spicy dark red, neutral natural white, or deep anthracite—allow you to set your table in a way that’s both understated and atmospheric. A metallic, shimmering gold-copper tone, specially mixed for screen printing, metallic, shimmering gold-copper shade—specifically formulated for screen printing—echoes the play of light on straw by candlelight and lends the stars a subtle vibrancy—an impression underscored by the pattern’s irregularities, which become apparent only upon closer inspection.

But what good is the most beautiful look without the right feel and functionality? In collaboration with the Dorothee Lehnen workshop, we’ve chosen a tightly woven linen with a generous weight of 240 g/sqm. Durable and already soft to the touch thanks to a pre-wash, this collection is just as suitable for a grand Christmas Eve dinner as it is for a cozy Advent breakfast. With a center tablecloth, table runner, placemats, and napkins, it also offers a well-thought-out system that can be combined as desired.
