Handy in size and light in weight, yet just as carefully crafted and playfully sophisticated as its big brother: this version of the strategy game TAC also provides extremely entertaining brain teasers in smaller play and fun corners and can be stowed away again to save space.

At its premiere in 2004, it was announced full-bodied (but with some justification) as a "new classic": the aim of TAC, which follows simple rules but is strategically challenging, is to get four pieces represented by glass marbles into your own "little house" (so far, so familiar). However, the path to the goal has special pitfalls that soon become painfully apparent to novices: Instead of a dice, playing cards dictate the speed of movement, some of which allow perfidious acts of sabotage, such as swapping two marbles or undoing your opponent's last move. To make matters worse, two players form a team that can only win collectively, which requires and encourages a certain degree of unselfishness, cooperation and foresight.
