At its premiere in 2004, it was boldly (but with some justification) announced as a "new classic": the aim of TAC, which follows simple rules but is strategically challenging, is to move four pieces represented by glass marbles into your own "little house" - so far, so familiar. However, the path to this goal is fraught with special pitfalls that all too soon become painfully apparent to novices of the strategy game: Instead of a dice, playing cards determine the speed of movement, some of which allow for perfidious acts of sabotage: for example, swapping two marbles or undoing your opponent's last move. To make matters worse, with four players, two players form a team that can only win collectively, which requires and encourages a certain degree of unselfishness, cooperation and foresight.
