Merkur razors
Merkur is one of those Solingen blacksmiths who specialize in a group of steel goods: Here, it's the old steel-bladed wet razors for double-edged blades. They are easier (and safer) to operate than straight razors, but are sharper (and, factoring in blade costs, cheaper) than swing-head razors.

A classic from the 1920s - Merkur has been making the safety razor since 1923. The long slim handle has the characteristic knurling and fits safely into your hand. Plate and top made of diecast zinc, handle made of brass. All parts are bright chromium-plated.
Length 10.5 cm. Weight 60 g. With one blade.
