The special fold-cutting technique, in which a sheet of paper folded several times is cut to size, has been passed down from generation to generation for these stars. To this day, the paper-cut stars are made entirely by hand. Fold by fold, cut by cut, a fascinating star pattern is created with striking meticulousness - yet each star is ultimately unique. Usually working freely, the manufacturer has exceptionally developed special cutting patterns, according to which she also produces these stars exclusively for us. The ends are accurately glued and sewn together, and each star is finished with a fine layer of matt red lacquer, which gives it additional strength. And as delicate as they are, the silhouette stars not only brighten up the Christmas tree immensely, but can also decorate windows, doors and walls just as effectively as solitaires.
