The squirrel, actually a native forest dweller, is increasingly found in parks and public green spaces. In many places, however, the (urban) tree population is no longer sufficient to ensure a year-round food supply. At least in the winter months, it may even be vital for these clever animals to find a supplementary food supply in our gardens. For this purpose, we offer a squirrel feeding station that you can attach to the wall of your house or to a tree trunk or wooden post. In response to many requests from our customers - and for the benefit of the squirrels - we have commissioned an improvement to this model. In order to eliminate any risk of injury, the Plexiglas panel, which provides a view of the nutritious contents of the feeding station, is now also framed at the top. In addition, the seating area at the front is slightly larger than that of the previous feeder. Made from the naturally durable wood of Douglas fir, the optimized version of our squirrel feeding station comes from one of our long-standing partner workshops in Münsterland. By the way, don't worry: the birds and mice in your garden won't succeed in opening the solid lid - but the clever squirrels will.
