Sneaker Protector protects and cares for shoes made from a wide variety of materials using plant-based ingredients. The combination of shea butter, berry, carnauba and sugar cane wax forms a protective, breathable barrier against moisture and dirt. In addition, orange oil and castor oil act as nourishing components to keep surfaces supple. Furthermore, the Protector contains only ammonia, xanthan gum (as a binding agent) and water. The impregnation does not contain any superfluous emulsifiers and must therefore be shaken well before use. The application itself is simple: spray the Sneaker Protector evenly onto the cleaned sneaker from a distance and work it in with the enclosed sponge. If some wax residue is still visible after drying, it can be carefully removed with a clean brush or cloth. The impregnation is suitable for all sneaker materials - textiles, smooth leather or nubuck as well as artificial leather - and does not change the look or feel of your shoes.

For sneaker care, we recommend regular cleaning, waterproofing and refreshing as required. For thorough cleaning, first try to remove dirt particles using a cleaning brush or sneaker brush. Then use a mild cleaning foam such as the Sneaker Cleaner from Tapir. Spread the cleaning foam over the shoe and the edge of the sole. Brush the shoe in a circular motion with a moistened brush, wetting it regularly with foam and water to remove the dirt. Finally, clean the shoe with clear water and the brush, possibly even rinse if the material allows it, and dry well with a cloth or sponge. Once the shoes are dry again, they can be impregnated with Sneaker Protector to better protect them from new dirt. Tip: If your sneakers have laces, remove them first and wash them separately.
