General Information

Pot plant care made easy

Your specialty is the care of roses and other plants in pots. With this small, two-pronged rose fork, you can gently loosen and aerate the soil in the pot without damaging the sensitive root system of the plants. The forged tines, sharpened at the tip, easily penetrate even heavily rooted pot balls, making them a great help when applying (rose) fertilizer in pots. Simply fill the required amount into the holes created and gently shake the pot. This ensures that the fertilizer is evenly distributed. We obtain this extremely useful utensil from a forge in Franconia.

Garden tools with character

The Krumpholz family knows a thing or two about forging. Based in the Franconian Forest, their ancestors acquired their first own hammer mill - the Guttenberger Hammer - in 1799 and were already producing tools and other everyday objects from forged iron back then. Today, the company's fortunes are in the hands of the eighth generation. The garden tools that leave the production site, which is still in its old location but has long since been modernized and expanded, are tools of the highest quality: shaped to their intended use under the weight of the forging hammer, compacted and reinforced where necessary, fitted with sharpened edges or blades and equipped with high-quality ash wood handles. Free-form forging, as practiced at Krumpholz, requires special skill and a sense of proportion. The steel used, a Swedish steel with a chrome-molybdenum content, is tough, strong and easy to clean.
