To describe this shaving set as a sculpture would certainly be an exaggeration, even though its manufacture, dimensions and design certainly place the ensemble in the vicinity of Objekten with aesthetic appeal. All parts are made by hand in a workshop on the west coast of Portugal: The soap dish, lid and tray are made of matt black glazed ceramic, while the shelf is neatly milled from smoked oak wood and finely sanded. Thanks to the precise workmanship, all parts fit together exactly, stand securely and do not slip easily.

The base of the shaving crucible has shallow grooves so that shaving soap or cream can be easily whipped into it and - in combination with a good shaving brush - produce a creamy, fine-pored lather, which is the basis for a deep shave that is gentle on the skin. Shaving brushes, razors and soap can be stored on the tray and the wooden shelf. The latter can of course also be used as a temporary shelf for glasses, jewelry, etc.
