It goes without saying that a sauna bucket should be heat-resistant. That it should also be made of a natural material is a particular concern of ours, which this sauna bucket meets in every respect: it is handcrafted in Austria from natural larch wood.

Larch wood is by nature particularly dense, hard and weatherproof - as if made to stand the test of time under steam. The individual staves of the larch wood bucket are connected by a glued, neatly interlocking s-shaped groove (crown joint), which ensures the tightness of the joints. Stability is also provided by two riveted metal hoops: they keep the sauna bucket in shape even when the wood follows its nature and "works". The careful manufacturing continues into the aspen wood trowel: due to its dimensional stability, aspen is one of the classic sauna woods, and thanks to its light color and fine grain, it is popular for sauna interior finishing.

Taking a sauna is considered to be pure well-being. A sauna session relaxes and purifies, cleanses body and mind, soothes the soul - for good reason the Finnish sauna culture (the steam bath) is on the UNESCO list of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
