The archives of the French weaving mill Tissage Moutet house an impressive collection of old, traditional patterns. This comes as no surprise, as the Moutet family has been weaving table linens and kitchen textiles since 1919—now in its fifth generation. Although the pattern for this dish towel is more recent, it is woven using the Jacquard technique on an old loom, just as it was in the past. As a result, both sides of the fabric feature the red-and-white pattern, each with a mirror-image color scheme. The home textiles are manufactured entirely in Orthez, in southern France.
