Characterful salt cellar - hand-turned from ash heartwood. This is particularly hard and dimensionally stable and has a distinctive grain. Treated with linseed oil, the wood becomes insensitive and its grain is intensively accentuated. The flat spoon, which also serves as a lid, allows fine salt flakes to be carefully removed and sprinkled without breaking. Ideal for the daily scoop of fine salt - at the dining table or in the cooking pot.
