The fourth generation of the R2 table radio is simple, elegant, compact and slim. Thanks to its new proportions, it can be placed almost anywhere in the home, making it perfect for placement on a windowsill or bookshelf, for example. As with all Ruark devices, the linear HiFi-Class AB amplifier, the NS+ loudspeaker units developed by Ruark Audio and the adaptive equalization ensure clear and clean sound with perfect balance for all music genres and spoken word content. Headphones can also be connected to the rear of the R2 via a 3.5 mm jack socket.

Like a complete music system, the Ruark R2 is equipped with DAB+, FM and Internet tuner with presets. It directly supports popular streaming services such as Spotify, Amazon Music and Deezer. Any other streaming service can also be played via the latest generation, high-quality Bluetooth 5 receiver. Bluetooth playback works seamlessly. Other devices can be connected via cable: The R2 has a switchable aux line input as well as a USB-C charging and playback connection.

The control unit, which is reminiscent of a telephone dial, is located on the housing; Ruark Audio calls it RotoDial. Its few buttons can be operated intuitively. The color LCD display, which shows the time, alarm and program information including station and album cover, sits in front above the real wood front grille behind a pane of real glass. Its brightness is automatically adjusted by a sensor that adapts to the ambient light. The R2 table radio can be operated remotely via the free UNDOK™ app, which is available for both Android and iOS devices.

Good sound should be accessible to all music lovers.
