Rose fragrances are among the classics in perfumery. Their uniqueness is based on 400 different molecules contained in one drop of rose essential oil. Panier des Sens has combined the absolute of Damask rose with citrus notes and white musk in its sophisticated reinterpretation. The fresh, subtly fruity opening of mandarin, blackcurrant and pink pepper is followed by the floral, opulent, velvety heart notes of damask rose, peony and jasmine. White musk, cashmere wood and sweet amber in the base lend the perfume warm, sensual notes. Rose des Bastides is a modern, lively fragrance - a far cry from overly sweet or old-fashioned compositions. It owes this to the sparkling citrus notes and the warm, woody base. The use of damask rose, on the other hand, is traditional. It grows particularly well in the south of France. Its flowers are picked by hand and the absolute is gently extracted so that the authenticity of the fragrance with its fruity, honey-like and powdery facets is preserved.

Panier des Sens created their first perfumes in Sault, a small village in the Vaucluse region, surrounded by lush lavender fields – some claim they are the most beautiful in Provence. The Mediterranean Sea, landscape, and flora contribute to the family-owned company’s inspiration for creating fragrances. The scents are fresh creations of uncomplicated and light character, made from natural extracts and essential oils sourced from the region. The formulations come from Perfumers in Grasse, and Panier des Sens produces its scents in the tradition-steeped town near the French Riviera according to the classical artistry of perfumery.
