The Puszta, a vast, open steppe landscape, is one of Hungary's most famous natural beauties. Georg Thalhammer has dedicated this spicy-hot pesto to it. It consists of around a third wild garlic from certified wild harvesting, plus dried sweet peppers, tomato paste, paprika flakes, smoked garlic and chili. This combination of selected ingredients creates a delicate umami flavor. The vegan pesto in organic quality tastes great as a spread and dip, it is the perfect base for a "Hungarian barbecue sauce" and is ideal for marinating grilled vegetables as well as for seasoning stews and hearty stews.

Georg Thalhammer's delicatessen production is based in Steinfeld in Lower Franconia. Delicious preparations in organic quality are created there - in close cooperation with the producers and with great respect for nature. The basis for this is often pumpkins that do not meet the commercial standard. This saves them from being thrown away. The products themselves are innovative and often prepared with unusual combinations of ingredients. If oils are used, they are exclusively native. Flavorings or synthetic additives are not used at all and sugar is used sparingly.
