Graphic studies with color depth and system: With graphic clarity and creative consistency, the Dutch design studio Raw Color explores the relationship between surface, line and color with the Solids & Strokes series. The starting point is a reduced graphic vocabulary of geometric surfaces (solids) and fine line structures (strokes). Superimposed in a precise, systematic arrangement, visually dense compositions are created - with clear movement, subtle depth and intense tonality. Minimalist in structure, colorful in effect.

The motifs are created using the pigment printing process (giclée) on open uncoated paper - with printing precision and high color brilliance. Developed as part of a large-scale screen printing experiment in which 16 color tones were combined in 32 print runs, the series comprises over 200 individual motifs in various formats.

At MAGAZIN, four selected color families - Blues, Greens, Yellows and Reds - are available in A3 format exclusively in Germany.
