With their help, canning your harvest’s fruits and vegetables is easy: Filled with the fresh produce you want to preserve, you put the jars in a stock pot and sterilize them in boiling water. The bottle comes with a screw cap, the jars with a screw lid. The vacuum screw-on lids and caps indicate the “canning success”: you can see the dent in the middle of the lid or cap – and weeks or months later, when you first open them, you’ll hear the typical “pop”.
