Turkish poppy, corn poppy, medicinal poppy or opium poppy - whichever red-flowering species of the poppy genus (Papaver) you look at, its intense hue is always a fascinating eye-catcher. It is a pity that the domestic poppy only flowers for two to three days per plant. And if you have children or pets, you should avoid real poppies anyway, as all parts of the plant are poisonous (even if they do not lead to opium intoxication, which requires both opium poppies and the specific processing of the juice of the unripe seed capsules). Our hand-felted poppies made from pure New Zealand wool, on the other hand, are safe for adults, children and pets. They mimic the poppy flower decoratively, bloom wonderfully persistently and give your room decoration a bright color accent for many days, months and seasons, in the vase as well as a napkin ring or on the present.

Certain manufacturing steps are carried out by hand. Slight dimensional and color deviations may therefore occur.
