In all individual parts, this stable umbrella stand is made of stainless steel and is made for a rust-free and long life. You won't find any plastic parts here - with one exception: the plastic glides on the underside of the matte brushed base plate protect more delicate (patio) floors. The standpipe is open to the ground to prevent waterlogging inside; it accepts poles with a diameter of 2.9 to 4.2 cm. The umbrellas are held in place by a simple but very effective design: With the help of a fixing screw, a 22 cm long tensioning strap is pressed continuously against the inserted umbrella pole until it is held firmly in the standpipe.
