The overflow drain on the sink presents real challenges when cleaning: While you might just be able to tackle the slot with a dishcloth or sponge, you’ll need to resort to other tools—such as a toothbrush—to reach the back wall of the sink behind it. It’s a lot of effort, and the results are unsatisfactory—a sentiment shared by Michaela Fedeschin of the Bürsten & Besen-Atelier. So the brush maker set out to create a brush specifically for the sink’s overflow. With its angled brush head and a bristle set made of stiff pig bristles, the overflow brush cleans thoroughly, even around the corner. A protective cap on the head ensures that nothing gets scratched in the process. With its handle made of turned beech wood, it fits comfortably in the hand, and once the job is done, it can be hung up to dry by the metal eyelet.
