Our salad servers made from olive wood are a real eye-catcher at the table. Smoothly sanded and oiled, the exceptionally beautiful natural grain of the alternately twisted olive wood really comes into its own here. Not only do the two parts of this salad servers sit perfectly in the hand thanks to the careful surface treatment - the generously shaped bowls allow even fine leaf salads to be gripped easily and securely. The fact that excess dressing can drip off cleanly contributes to confident, spill-free serving; one of the two spoons is specially designed with a wide slit for this purpose.

The olive wood salad servers are made for us in Italy. To be more precise, it comes from the small town of Omegna, on the northern edge of Lake Orta in Piedmont. The small industrial town in the mountainous region around the Strona river valley is still home to some of the country's most famous household goods manufacturers, including such illustrious names as Alessi, Bialetti and Piazza. Our manufacturer is therefore in the very best of company. In fact, the origins of Bisetti, which was founded in 1945, lie in the wood craftsmanship of the region. Exhibit A - our salad servers! Metal processing has long since been added to the range, which also includes spice mills, kitchen graters and other kitchen gadgets. Since 2018, the company has been based at a new, larger production site. Great importance is attached there to handling the materials to be processed responsibly; in the case of wood, for example, offcuts that cannot be processed any further are ultimately used to heat the buildings.
